NETVIGATOR Extra Service – Restart 3.0 Handset Switch Service Terms and Conditions:
  1. Restart 3.0 Handset Switch Service (the “Service”) is an extra service under HKT NETVIGATOR Broadband Services (provided by Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited (“HKT”)). The service is applicable to all NETVIGATOR customers. Eligible customers need to subscribe Restart 3.0 Handset Switch Service with at least a 24-month commitment period (the “Restart commitment period”). During the Restart commitment, you need to use NETVIGATOR broadband service.
  2. The Service is provided by Bolttech Device Protection Hong Kong Limited (“bolttech”). You confirm to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions of bolttech (the “Restart Program Terms and Conditions”) as stated in https://restart-device.bolttech.hk/hk/en/terms-and-conditions.
  3. After The Service takes effect, the redemption code will be sent to the customer's registered mobile number via SMS after 14 working days by HKT. It includes the redemption code, how to register on bolttech platform and how to use the redemption code. Redemption code cannot be returned, refunded, resold, transferred, and exchanged for cash and/or other gifts.
  4. The Service fees will be added to your NETVIGATOR Broadband Services bill.
  5. Application for the Service is subject to approval by bolttech.
  6. The Service is only applicable to eligible device models. To apply for the Service, you must have an Eligible Device, please refer to https://restart-device.bolttech.hk/hk/en/device-plans for details.
  7. Eligible Device must be in good conditions. Upon your application, you will be required to present your device for inspection to see if it is eligible for the Service, as well as provide the device model and IMEI number of your device.
  8. The Service allows you to during the Service period:
    (i) switch your eligible registered device for a replacement device (“Replacement Device”) during the Service period by paying to bolttech a switch fee (the “Switch Fee”) of 28% of the suggested retail price of your registered device prevailing at the time of your service application at csl/1O1O store (the “Original SRP”)
    (ii) replace a screen for your registered device (“Screen Replacement”) during the Service period by paying to bolttech a replacement fee (the “ Screen Replacement Fee”) of 3% of the Original SRP. The above 2 services are collectively called “Service Requests”, each a “Service Request”. You will also be required to pay a monthly subscription fee (as set out in the application form) for the Service. “Restart Program Terms and Conditions” apply.   9. Screen Replacement Service is only applicable to designated smartphone or tablet. If you submit a Screen Replacement request, our Service Provider will either
    (i) replace your Registered Device screen or
    (ii) replace your Registered Device. For full terms and conditions of the Screen Replacement Service, please refer to “Restart Program Terms and Conditions” linked in paragraph 2 above.
  10. Service Request will only be accepted if the IMEI numbers of the device you present for such Service Request matches with the IMEI number of the device you registered as the registered device. The paid Service fees are not refundable. Signed contract period will not be changed and extended, fees will not be refunded.
  11. The Replacement Device is supplied and delivered to you by bolttech. We expressly disclaim any warranties or representations of any kind in relation to the Replacement Device (whether express or implied). The Replacement Device does come with the original packaging. It is not guaranteed that the Replacement Device is of the same model or colour as your registered device.
  12. If you do not agree to continue subscribe the service after the commitment period for the Service, you are required to give HKT not less than 30 days’ prior notice as per your service contract.
  13. If you terminate the Service before the expiry of the commitment period for the Service, we will charge you early termination charges, which are the sum of the monthly fees for the Service for the remaining unexpired period. The Service will terminate immediately when your NETVIGATOR Service is terminated by you.
  14. At the end of the Restart commitment period, if (a) HKT has not received any valid written termination request from you regarding the Restart 3.0 Handset Switch Service; or (b) you have not renewed your existing contract and have not entered into any new contract with a new commitment period for the Restart 3.0 Handset Switch Service, HKT will continue to provide the Restart 3.0 Handset Switch Service to you as an extra service to the NETVIGATOR broadband service on a monthly basis in accordance with the existing contract, until you provide HKT with at least 30 days' advance written notice to terminate the Restart 3.0 Handset Switch Service.
  15. HKT is not the supplier of the Service, and makes no representation or guarantee as to the quality of the Service provided by bolttech. Neither do they accept liability for any matters arising from, or in relation to, the same. Any dispute or complaint in connection with the Service will be referred to bolttech. In case of any enquiry or dispute about the Service, please contact bolttech directly on 58032496.
  16. If you do not hand in your registered device or fail to comply with “Restart 3.0 Program Terms and Conditions”, bolttech may charge you up to 72% of the Original SRP of the registered device in addition to the Switch Fee. bolttech may take a hold on your credit card at the time of the switch for the purposes of such additional charge.
  17. HKT reserves the right to change or terminate the service and/or these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice. In the event of dispute, decisions made by us shall be final and binding.
