”General Terms of Use of NETVIGATOR SHiELD”: https://netvigator.com/Terms-of-Use-Netvigator-Shield-eng
This “5G Home Internet” (“Service”) offer is a limited-time offer, only available to new (whose service installation address has not been installed with any NETVIGATOR / LiKE1OO Broadband Service at any time in the past 3 months from the application date) or existing consumer customers residing at designated estates. The Service could only be used at the service installation address of the registered customer. New customers are required to pay Service monthly fees by credit card autopay. The Service comprises of one 5G Home Internet Router (“Device”), together with its accessories / parts (including a power adapter and an embedded SIM card) (collectively, "Router", provided on a rental basis) and designated monthly local data service, with a designated commitment period. After subscription of the Service, customers are required to collect the Router at designated location during the period as per the redemption SMS, which will be sent to the customer’s registered mobile phone number approximately 7 days after the Service subscription. The Service is subject to a 250GB monthly data usage, the calculation of which shall commence from the first day of the next month upon the effective date of the Service. When a customer’s data usage reaches the monthly data entitlement, the customer can continue to use the Service. However, the customer will be allocated with less network resources for access subject to the prevailing network conditions and the customer’s experience may be affected. Customers are required to return all parts of the Router in clean and working condition to our (Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited (“HKT”)) designated location within 14 days from the service termination date or the end of the 7-day free trial period (only applicable to new customers). If the customer does not do so, a maximum Lost Equipment Fee of HK$1,900 will be charged. The Service is provided by HKT and only available in designated residential areas, subject to the relevant terms and conditions. In the event of any dispute, HKT’s decision shall be final. # The Router supports 5G 3GPP cellular communications standard and AX3000 or above wireless network specification. The actual speed that a user experience will be considerably less than the network specifications and will be affected by various factors, including the Internet conditions, server speeds, network conditions, coverage, locations, the device used, hardware, software, usage levels and other factors. The Service is offered by including but not limited to 5G or 4G LTE network. The existing 4G LTE networks will be used in the areas outside the 5G network coverage. The Service is also subject to the network coverage and accessibility of the service installation address of the registered customer. Maintenance service does not cover damage or loss caused by misuse, abuse, neglect or unauthorised repair or modification. Customers are required to bring the relevant parts of the Router to HKT’s designated locations for replacement.
@ Customers who newly subscribe to the Service can enjoy a 7-day free trial period from the sent date of redemption SMS, subject to the relevant terms and conditions. If a customer terminates the Service during the free trial period, the customer will not be required to pay any fees for the Service, but the customer may still be subject to payment of a Lost Equipment Fee.
* According to Hong Kong's Fibre-to-the-Home ("FTTH") household penetration rate as reported by the Office of the Communication Authority and HKT results announcements in June 2022, HKT accounted for nearly 60% of household FTTH connections.
